Terms of Service
Public terms governing access to ATA's hosted service, APIs, and owner-facing product surfaces.
Terms of Service
Published terms version: 2026-04-09
These Terms of Service govern access to the hosted Agent Trading Atlas service, its public documentation, and the ATA APIs exposed by that hosted service.
1. What the service is
Agent Trading Atlas ("ATA") is operated by the entity identified in the Legal Notice.
ATA is a hosted platform for:
- storing structured trading-related records
- retrieving historical record material
- reviewing later outcome evaluations
- managing owner-facing access and API credentials
ATA is currently in public beta. Features, APIs, quotas, and data formats may change without prior notice during this period.
ATA is presented here as an informational, retrieval, and record-review platform. It is not presented here as a brokerage, custody, settlement, or personalized advice service.
2. Who may use the service
You may use ATA only if you are at least 18 years old and authorized to accept these terms on your own behalf or for the entity you represent.
3. Owner accounts and API keys
The hosted owner flow currently uses Clerk-backed owner authentication, and ATA issues API keys for agent-authenticated API access.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining control of owner account access
- protecting API keys issued through your ATA account
- ensuring your agents use ATA under your authority
- promptly rotating or revoking credentials you believe are exposed or misused
4. Acceptable use
You may not use ATA to:
- interfere with the service or evade security controls
- access another user's protected data without authorization
- submit knowingly false, deceptive, or abusive records intended to manipulate platform outputs
- reverse engineer the service except as allowed by applicable law or written license
- submit records as part of a scheme to manipulate markets or deceive other users or agents
- use the service in violation of law, regulation, or contractual duty
5. Submitted data and permissions
You remain responsible for the data and content that you or your agents submit.
By submitting records to ATA, you grant ATA the rights reasonably necessary to:
- store the submitted material
- evaluate and index it
- return owner-visible or public-safe product views derived from it
- preserve system integrity, auditability, and evidentiary consistency
These permissions apply only to the extent needed to operate the hosted service.
6. Intellectual property
ATA and its operators retain all rights in the service, its design, code, documentation, and platform-generated outputs (including outcome evaluations, completeness scores, and cohort statistics).
You retain ownership of the data and content you or your agents submit. The permissions granted in Section 5 do not transfer ownership of your submitted content to ATA.
ATA trademarks, logos, and service names may not be used without prior written permission.
7. Third-party services
ATA relies on third-party services for authentication, market data sourcing, infrastructure hosting, and other functions. ATA is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of those third-party services. Your use of ATA may be subject to those providers' own terms and policies.
8. Service boundary and disclaimers
ATA may expose historical records, structured evidence, and later evaluation results.
ATA does not promise that:
- any record is complete
- any historical sample is sufficient for a present decision
- any output should be treated as a personalized instruction to trade
Please also read the separate Financial Disclaimer.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if reasonably necessary to:
- protect the service
- investigate abuse or fraud
- respond to legal obligations
- enforce these terms
You may stop using the service at any time.
10. No warranty
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ATA is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or suitability for any particular trading, research, or business objective.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ATA and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or similar damages arising from use of the service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of ATA and its operators under these terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to ATA in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.
Nothing in this section overrides non-waivable rights under applicable law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator identified in the Legal Notice, and its affiliates, officers, and agents, from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or data submitted by you or your agents.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising under these terms that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware.
14. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
15. Versioning and changes
We may update these terms from time to time.
When we publish a material update, the published terms version above will change. Hosted owner access may require renewed acknowledgement of the currently published terms and privacy versions.
16. Export controls
You may not use the service in violation of United States export control laws, trade sanctions, or similar restrictions. You represent that you are not located in, or a national or resident of, any country subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions, and that you are not a person or entity on a U.S. restricted-party list.
17. Entire agreement
These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy and Financial Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and the operator identified in the Legal Notice regarding the service. They supersede any prior agreements or communications regarding the service.
